Betting Rules

Before every Grand Prix you receive a fresh budget of betting points. You spend this budget across four bet types at live odds. Winning bets return your stake multiplied by the odds that were locked when you placed the bet.

Budget

  • You receive a fresh budget for every Grand Prix. The exact amount is set per season by the admin.
  • On sprint weekends the same budget covers both the sprint and the main race — split it however you like (e.g. 400 on the sprint, 600 on the main race).
  • The budget is fresh for that event — nothing rolls over. Unspent points are lost when the event closes.
  • Your total stakes across all bets for one event cannot exceed its budget.

Bet types

  1. Winner — pick the driver who finishes first.
  2. Pole position — pick the driver who sets the fastest qualifying lap.
  3. Fastest lap — pick the driver who records the fastest lap during the race.
  4. Express — combine three picks (winner + pole + fastest lap); pays out only if all three are correct.

How winnings are calculated

The odds that applied at the moment you placed your bet are locked in — later odds movement does not affect your payout.

Simple bet (Winner, Pole, Fastest lap):

  • If correct: points earned = round(stake × locked odds)
  • If wrong: 0 points.

Express:

  • If all three picks are correct: points earned = round(stake × winner_odds × pole_odds × fastest_lap_odds)
  • If any pick is wrong: 0 points.

Odds

Odds are pulled automatically from live betting markets and stored per driver, per race, per bet type. For sprint weekends, sprint-specific odds are used when available; otherwise the main-race odds apply as a fallback.

Deadlines

Example

Budget: 1000 points. You place:

  • 300 pts on Max Verstappen to win — odds 1.7
  • 100 pts on Lando Norris for pole — odds 4.0
  • 150 pts on Charles Leclerc for fastest lap — odds 12.0
  • 450 pts on Express: Verstappen (1.7) + Norris (3.6) + Leclerc (11.0) — combined factor 67.32

Race results: Winner — Verstappen. Pole — Verstappen (not Norris). Fastest lap — Leclerc.

Your payouts:

  • Winner: 300 × 1.7 = 510 pts
  • Pole: 0 pts
  • Fastest lap: 150 × 12.0 = 1800 pts
  • Express: 0 pts — the pole pick was wrong, so the accumulator loses in full.

Total: 2310 points.

Standings

Your betting points are totaled across the season. Three views are available: main-only, sprint-only, and overall (sum of both). Ties are broken by earlier registration.

Place your bets responsibly — good luck!
